30 years is the PEARL anniversary NOT bronze. ;) there's something going on with the secretary's BRONZE watch. the camera is concentrating on it for some reason.

so far here's the chain of events. the dad and son argue over how the dad thinks his son is stealing from the company. son kills dad by stabbing him with a knife. but housekeeper discovers body and sees letter S. but son is behind the bathroom door. 2nd wife comes in and discovers 'Son' on the tiles and son blackmails her into covering for him. son knows 2nd WIFE is the embezzler. son grabs dad and cries on him explaining away blood on son's body. 2nd wife removes and replaces tiles and washes them off to hide 'Son' written by her husband on the tiles. she also gets rid of the murder weapon. she writes 'confession' letter and seals it JIC son betrays and murders her. but, 2nd wife changes her mind and kills son first. why? because if the son inherits the company he's going to fire the 2nd wife, either/or probably ruin the company (and the 2nd wife's money money money income/job) because he's an idiot. so 2nd wife decides to kill the son first.

but. who kills the 2nd wife? my guess? the old dude had a 1st marriage. the housekeeper OR the secretary is the old dude's daughter by his 1st wife. the secretary has a bronze watch, the fellow with the bronze pen said 'employees that had been with the company almost as long as i have got bronze watches, while i got a bronze fountain pen.' so the secretary has been with her father since she was a young woman, secretly helping her dad out.

or it's the housekeeper and the old man was humping the help and out popped a little baby girl... his former housekeeper is his baby-mamma, present housekeeper's mommy... he kept the former housekeeper on staff... because you never fire the side-strange... she'll tattle! and he liked her on his penis... i mean staff. ;9 then he took care of present housekeeper because he's a smart guy and has lots of cash... plus he doesn't want a paternity lawsuit slapped on him by his baby-mamma's baby.... annnd she kills the 2nd wife for murdering the present housekeeper's half brother and also not turning the son over to the police for killing their daddy.

but that's just a theory... a TV film theory! ;)

i think they're both valid possibilities.
